BioWare announced that due to the success of the free server transfer program, all players on the destination servers by July 30, 2012 at 11:59 PM CDT will be rewarded a free Gannifari vanity pet and 25 Black Hole commendations at the end of July. Any characters not yet transferred have until the above date to move to one of the destination servers and receive this promotional reward. The player’s account must also be active and not banned at that time in order to qualify.

Posted 7/6/2012 7:56:06 AMHmm. I thought www.swtor.com/transfer had lists of all the servers that could transfer, including mine (Mind Trick). But now when I go there, not only is the list a total mess (ever heard of alphabetical order, dev guys?) but Mind Trick isn't on there. Is it on another list somewhere? If not, why did it go away?

It's in order they were announced, not alphabetical, but you can do a CTRL+F and find yours easily enough.

I thought it used to be under www.swtor.com/transfer and I don't see it there now, even if I copy the list into notepad and search for it. That's why I was confused. At least you guys have a list we can read!

Posted 7/5/2012 2:00:40 PMSo this essentially means that if you happen to roll a new toon you should *always* do so on one of these old servers and move it immediately to the server of your choice to get the pet & perks.

Posted 7/5/2012 4:07:34 PMFrom my interpretation of the announcement, it will in effect be the same thing as the Founder rewards that we received eariler this year. Meaning that as long as your character is on the destination server it gets the reward.
"...we are giving all characters on qualifying servers (including all destination servers) an in-game pet..."
Which makes sense as those people who already lived on the destination servers couldn't actually transfer.

Posted 7/7/2012 12:43:57 AMYou don't need to create a character elsewhere and transfer it - you can create your character directly on the destination server before July 31 and it will receive the reward around August 7.
