During the Star Wars: The Old Republic companion panel at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, BioWare showed a new trailer for the upcoming HK-51 companion. Now with the panel over, BioWare would like to share the trailer with the rest of the world. While we were not in attendance to hear the crowd reaction live, we will assume the roar in the comments section is similar.
For the official posting of the trailer, head on over to the media section on the SWTOR page.

Posted 7/17/2012 2:34:04 AMThey should have just come clean months ago and said, "The reason we haven't been producing worthwhile content or filling-out the game's core systems is because we've devoted every resource to producing a teaser cinematic for the new, just-as-useless-as-the-ones-you-currently-have companion. But don't worry worry, now that it's finished, we'll be bringing you exciting news about the new Legacy perks for vanity pets -- coming in updates 1.4 and then fixed in 1.5."
I really want to resub, but this definitely isn't the reason I'm looking for.

Posted 7/17/2012 4:35:11 AMIt's a good thing then that almost every game developer out there outsources videos like this to other companies so they can work on it while the game developers (who don't do cinematics at all) work on things that do matter. But, that's fine, let's jump to conclusions about Bioware using non-standard business practices.
If this video doesn't make you want to resub, then maybe star wars isn't for you? One of the most iconic and beloved characters from the games will be able to run around with you and talk about how bad of a meatbag you are.

Posted 7/17/2012 11:20:02 AMI suppose you want their secretary to start fixing bugs, or the janitor to start pumping out some awesome flashpoints and operations right?
Everyone hired on there has a specific job. Putting together a polished cinematic isn't nearly the same as coding or designing new content. This isn't a mobile phone game, this is an MMO.
