I guess I figured out how to 'win' the game. Everyone is complaining about how much they 'have' to spend in the cartel, and that's just funny. Am I the only one who is getting more out of the game with the same monthly sub I've always paid?

I have rocket boots on all my guys, an extra inventory slot for everyone, a vendor and mail terminal on all my ships, and HK-51 on a level 10 character. On top of that I wasted coins on getting one box and have a guy with the carbonation freezer because the character's name was Carbonator.

I also have one of my kids playing with me because a free sub is plenty for her.

I'm sorry if getting more for the same money is such a terrible thing for some people.

well they don't need subs anymore. and i don't think they care if they get more subs or not.

the cartel market is the driving force that brings them money now.

they don't have to tell any one how many subs they have.                                               all they have to say is how much the cartel market makes them.

and i don't see them doing anything to make end game raiding  appealing  for subs or even freebies to want to sub. because all the cool LOOT is locked in gamble packs.

    good show.

I just watched the video with Justin over on gamebreaker and I just have to fully agree 100% period.

Cory Butler should be ashamed, truly ashamed to be the guy who is responsible for the crap the cartel market is, overprized beyond any reason, "holiday items" for more bucks than a subscription is worth, Grade 7 Ship Items etc. . Seriously, that's like singing about surfing after the Tsunami hit Thailand few years back. There is no moral nor any thought spent on this.

I spend way too much money mainly for crime lord packs because instead of implementing new cool ways to get a white color cyrstal you have to gamble for it (in my situation, I can't justify it to myself even though I finally got one... one after literally hundreds of packs)

i been playing since beta but i feel this game needs to mature more. it breaks the heart to think its time to unsub .. but i hope after a year from now they will have put in enough content for me to come back to.

i feel that they are more into pushing cartel packs down our throats then anything else now a days.

it feels like break up. lol i know it shouldn't feel that way...but it does.

ill still be cheering for ToR ... but from the side lines

Sorry I didn't mean that they where lieing in the video.  It's just the same crap as the last 5 vids, and hate the way the cartel market has gone as well as "Life Day" (spend more cash to breath life into the cartel market day".

It's all about the scratch. They don't have the subscription numbers to fill their pockets with $$$, so they're getting it in another way with those of us that do subscribe. Offering a CHANCE at a really cool item enticing us to buy loads of packs. It's working, and it sucks! Cause the chance at that really cool item is insanely low...

I think it is totally dishonest to IMPLY you can just buy the white crystals from the cartel market. After 80+ gambling packs, I've seen 2 and had to sell them both because they are one of the few things I got that will actually sell on the gtn.
