As a community we're way too polarized. The class is either perfect or blows llamas. Players are either pros or they're L2P. Where's the grey area, kids?
No, the class is not perfect. No it's not broken either. No, Annihilation isn't the only "viable" talent tree. No hybrids aren't worthless. No PvP isn't the measuring stick for the game as a whole. No all classes are not perfectly balanced. No you don't know if that's by design or not. No not everyone has the same opinion as you. Shocking right? No Massacre does NOT proc an Ataru strike in Shii-Cho form, which sucks, I know, but I'll get over it! No, no one is doing anything wrong because it's, you know, a game.
One day you guys are going to have to explain to your manager why you deserve that raise, and I'll tell you now, "cuz im teh awesum brah, luk on youtube," isn't going to cut it. If you want Bioware to change something, articulate. "WHY I THINK MARAUDER IS COW NUTS," is not going to get a thoughtful read from a developer. If you want to express to another marauder why you feel hybrid builds are definitely NOT the bees knees, "lol i wuz early beta l2p yo," doesn't quite say it.
When you think something might be off, think about it before you start typing. No, really, think about it. Now think about it again. Now think about all the other classes in the game. Now think about it in a different situation. Now think about it in PvE. Now think about it in PvP. Now think about it in Flashpoints. Now think about how someone else might do it. Now stop thinking that doesn't matter because everyone else is L2P. Now start typing. Now think about it again. Now re-read your post. Now think about it again. Now take a deep breath. Now think about it again. Now hit Submit.
TLDR: Stop. Think. It's a big world. We're all marauders. We're all players. We're all different. Post in a way that helps designers and developers understand your point. Read and consider every (decently written) reply.
