is it like another game ive played were if you play the other "faction" you cant talk or party or do anything with them(like for example,if i made a sith class could i not party or talk to someone that made a jedi class)
im tryin to decide what class i wanna roll and i was watchin some pvp videos of the jedi sage and it looks pretty fun.ive heard there kinda like the fotm class though so i might not make one but i was just wonderin if thats how star wars the old republic is
plus how hard is it to find groups for the pve stuff in this game,i heard theres no way you can just queue up for stuff like in another game i played and you had to like shout in chat channels for groups
ive kinda got my classes narrowed down to eather sith inquisitor with sorcerer subspec or jedi consular with sage subspec but i was just wondering because i might just look at skills and pvp videos or pve videos ands ee which one looks like id like more if being the other side or whatever doesnt matter in terms of like talking to people and grouping and stuff

That's a LOT of questions But I will try to answer them as good as I can.
For the first one No you can't group up with someone from the other faction BUT you can talk to each other since everyone talk Basics (It's Star wars)
A Sage Dps can be really annoying in PvP if it gets in melee range but it dosen't have really good defence (Only light armor) So it's difficult to level one in the beginning.
I really hadn't got any problems finding groups for Flashpoints (Dungeons/Instances) You just need to visit the Fleet and you will find some people looking within 20 minutes. For heroics it can be difficult (Group world quests) But if you pay attention to the general Chat you will find plenty of people.
I haven't played a Sith Sorceror but I have been playing Consular. I know though that the Sorceror have a lot of Force Lightning (Instant cast, massive AoE) So it really depends on how you want to play really. The consular got Telkinetics (Throwing Rocks, Earthquake) so it can be powerful down the Dps tree. When it comes to grouping there is equal in the long run but some servers can be with high Sith population while others with high Republic population.

Posted 12/22/2011 4:14:28 AMDon't roll Marauder, they blow right now. To be more specific, their damage is entirely way lower than what it should be.
Level 50 Sith Marauder
