While I don't really care about Twi'leks I am all for variety and hope that they are playable for those of you out there who really want to play Twi'leks. If Twi'leks do become playable that certainly makes other humanish types with odd heads more likely to be playable. I myself will go with some of the more basic human looks.
I'm all for variety. It's a shame that they don't seem to be including other near-human species as playable, like Arkanians, Kiffar or Zeltrons. Seems like they'd be really easy to implement, as they're almost entirely just palette swaps.
Quote from CliffyT Well they gotta save something for expansions.
I think they should just make a generic "Near-Human" race that has a whole variable set of skin tone colors and maybe a little extra bit on some sliders, so you can actually play those races. Don't give special mechanics or what not, just... let us play 'em for RP purposes.
Quote from Jamion I love Twi'leks today Rockjaw (thank him for replying to my initial inquiries) stated that Twi'leks are being considered for Jedi Knight.
I really want to see Twi'leks playable as Jedi Knights, and I would like to see community support of this as well. Thank you.
I see nothing wrong with having a Twi'leks option in SWTOR for Jedi Knight. As long as the decisions Bioware makes are always in the best interest of the end user... fine with me.
Quote from HarryTruman Wait, what? They definitely haven't confirmed saberstaff/single saber configurations.
Exactly. As I wrote, it has been confirmed to NOT be in. I used that kind of wording due to the fact that we got the video first, then got a yellow comment that it is not in.

Posted 7/11/2011 5:29:01 PMThey can make every race be every class for all I care. Might not make sense lore wise but it's more options. And I like options.
