I'm curious to hear what other people want their trooper to look like. Bioware seems to offer a variety of options for looks, from the heavily armored tank to the lightly armored scout with plenty of nods to both stormtroopers and the Rebel scouts on Endor. I'm also curious as to what accents people want on their trooper. Backpacks have been mentioned before, but what about the single shoulder pauldrons of the ARC Trooper or ammo belts? I'm glad DH got some good pics of the Trooper armor lineup from last weekend. Personally, the more my trooper looks like an ARC trooper, the happier I'll be.
I'll have to see the armour sets in SWTOR before making a decision on my Troopers look. I am REALLY hoping that BioWare have an appearance tab like LOTRO. That'll make the process SOOO much easier.

I'm hoping that even tho I'm not a tank the armor will still be a little bulky and I hope I have some options with back packs and thick shoulders. I like the look of the vanguard's armor style. I hated the chain gun at first but I'm starting to get a lot more comfotable with the idea. I do hate that Bioware seems to be restricting certain weapon types to different classes, but that's another story. Anyways If it was up to me I would have the Vanguards armor with the HUGE gun for a TeamFortress 2 "Heavy Weapons Guy" feel! "Who touched Sasha?... WHO TOUCHED MY GUN!!!" LOL
LOL! RogueJedi86 I would love a Sandvich ability to quickly regain health as my Trooper takes off his helmet and chows down! Yeah I might consider going that route too but I'm sure I'll know when I have the game in front of me.
I love the look of the final armor set featured in the vanguard AC video on the official website (when the player's on Hoth or Ilum?). That's kind of what sold the class for me. As I really want to roll tank, but wasn't sure if Vanguard or Guardian.
I want to see the Snowtrooper armor in-game too, like Cakes' picture from the official site. Armor that bulky HAS to be Vanguard. The second we see it in-game though(in a video), people will say "huge shoulderpads like WoW!". Still, I wanna see that gear in-game.

Posted 8/10/2011 10:14:50 AMOmanik, you could always be a DPS Vanguard since it sounds like you prefer the Vanguard armor and guns. All the tank ACs will have viable DPS specs.
No sandviches for Vanguard though, maybe in an expansion. :P
