First of all, I will be speccing a hybrid pvp tank spec. I was at first thinking of going Scavenging, Underworld Trading and Armormech to supply myself and Mako with armors. But now I'm kind of torn and also considering Bioanalysis, Diplomacy, and Biochem because of the reusable stim packs and med packs; not to mention, the implants.
Being self sufficient is important to me, as well as having a crafting skill that I can make some money from on the GTN.
Input? Is there anything else I missed or something you all would like to add that I should consider?
On my shield tech, I'll be doing bioanalysis, biochem and underworld trading. For tanking, I suspect "pot chuging" will be back in style. Better have my own special reserves. On my merc pyrotech, he'll be a scavanger, treasure hunting and armortech. Will be making all my armor for my other bh and companions.
my plan is to go BH > Powertech, pick up Scavenging, Slicing and Underworld Trading. Then much later dropping Scavenging for Cybertech. And I should have all the mats to level it.
I am going Cybertech for the CC grenades and because my guild needs someone to craft mods. Between Armormech and Biochem I would personally go Biochem. While the stat bonuses will probably turn out similarly, I like earning gear more than I like crafting it so Armormech just wouldn't suit me very well. Both are perfectly good choices for a Powertech.
On my PT I'm going Scav/UT/Cybertech.... I think that Scav and UT work well together and both can used in the Armor and Cyber which are IMO the best main CS for a PT.
Also, depends on if you have a guild or friends to work with. Another PT in my guild is doing Armor so I switched and went with Cyber.
