Sith Juggernaut Rage DPS

  • #1 Vengal

Curious has anyone here tried this out at upper levels? Highest i've gotten so far is level 20 and its working out now but that doesn't really mean a whole lot.

Well for what it matters, BW has stated they want to keep all classes' DPS close to or competitive enough that you wont need to worry.

Yo guys!!! I started with Vengeance Tree up to lvl25, but I didnt like it... I changed to Rage and at least at lower lvls seems quite better than Vengeance! The damage number are a little better, but honestly, BW needs to review Juggernaut... That Rage Mechanic does not work well. We take too much time to build Rage (with low dmg) and at the point we start to use the good dmg skills any other Class has already droped us to 50%Hp.

Its stupid, for example, "Chilling Scream" to cost Rage... It should cost nothing. Our shield. "Saber Ward" FFS, 3 min coolldown??? Seriouslly...? "Smash" Cost Rage, and only CC´s week targets? Why? Should Stun 100%

"Saber Ward" should have only 1 min cooldown.

"Smash" should Stun every single time, AND not on GCD

"Chilling Scream" shouldnt cost any Rage.

"Assault" and "Sundering Assault" should build a little bit more Rage.

Raise the dmg of all our skills, even if it cost 2 o 3 points on the ability tree (I mean, only for the DPS trees)

Juggernaut is broken at the moment.

At higher levels both vengence and immortal (not tried rage yet) generate enough rage to keep up a good rotation. In fact immortal suffers from an excess of rage at times. I assume the Rage tree is the same although the whole tree seems set up towards PvP or more exactly burst damage so vengeance will probably top it in PvE fights. I should also add that Enrage can provide that needed boost when you end up rage starved.

I wouldn't say Jugg is broken it simply fills one role at a time, I think Ed "Taugrim" Park put it best when he said that you can either have strong utility or strong dps as a Jugg, not both. That will most likely change over time though.
