ok so ive got an interesting story, aside from meeting Sado (thanks for the button, hope you got some rest) and getting to play the smuggler for a bit.
So as i begin to play the demo, the flash point crashes and the cute bioware girl watching the demos has to reset it (using the same commandline codes as the E3 demo) but it doesnt take so she has to exit out of the client. Upon restarting she has to leave as it comes to the character selection screen (i got a pic of this) she comes back and the premade smuggler wont load so...she has to create a new character. I got to watch her go through the customization process (she would not let me get pics of this) basicly standard stuff so far (prob not final though) She made a Twi'Lek female browsed through some cool head dress options and some facial scarring, cybernetic bits and some cool goggles. Also saw various skin markings and colors. Noticed various body types as well (5 if i recall). Everything seemed to be on a slider system.
The runthrough was pretty much what we have seem so far and exactly what i was hoping for. Although i did see a Rodian NPC that had an English Voice over so im hoping for playables...

Cant wait for the panel tomorrow.
PAX rocks.
That's really cool because I thought it was going to be skinny male/big male and skinny female models. Nice to know there will be a wider range of choices.
Just got back from the first half of my day at PAX.
Got a chance to play the Inquisitor for about 15 minutes this morning, was a good deal of fun, although very hard to concentrate on what I was doing because Daniel Erickson himself was standing next to me pointing things out! It was awesome!
Needless to say I got a chance to talk to a few of the Bioware peeps while me and my 1 year old daughter Olivia were hanging out at the Lucas Arts booth today. (The Bioware booth is chock full of Dragon Age 2 stuff)
The LA booth has a good amount of computers set up running TOR, probably at least 15. I'm planning to head back and check out a few of the other classes and planets as well. (My short 15 minutes was spent inside the tombs on Korriban, didn't get to see any outside environments.)
So far I haven't seen or heard any new info for TOR, I will be attending the Bioware/LA presentation tomorrow, so if anything is revealed there I'll be sure to post it into this forum.
The detail of the game is amazing, while inside one of the chambers in the tombs, I stopped and panned the camera around to take a look at the detail put into the architecture and environment. It was pleasing to see first hand how the stylized realism looks, I was not disappointed.
While in a dialog sequence, the face of the person I was talking to was incredibly detailed, the VO sounded amazingly crisp and clean.
The combat at level 2 was very quick, an equal level Klor Slug only required 1 Shock, and was dead, usually you fight 2-3 at a time though. I found myself waiting for the global cool down longer than I was expecting, not sure what the exact length on it was though.
When I engaged as many enemies as I could at once (maybe 6 or 7), I survived for maybe 15 seconds, took out about 3 of the 7 or so enemies. (Right then Daniel was like "HAHA! trying to get yourself slaughtered eh?")
I have a 3 day pass so over the next couple of days I will be sure to play through each of the classes, unfortunately the two Jedi classes are still under wraps. (And from what I was told they will be under wraps for a while longer.) :(

Reminds me of E3 when I killed Sleeper by kiting about 10 guys around to die and he got aggro off of me before he saw what I was doing.

Yes! Awesome.
edit -- any familiar voice actors for the PCs?
Honestly couldnt really hear enough to discern any familiar ones (the exhibit hall is VERY loud) . That being said the voice acting is pretty solid (from the stuff i did hear)
