I can't believe I am saying this again, but it is convention time.. again! This time we have Paris Game Week, where I will be hoping that we get a fresh bit of information for he game we all know and love, Star Wars: The Old Republic. This will work just like normal, for all interviews, game play footage, and pictures you may run across during Paris Games Week, post them up here and I will add them to our list. This time I will be home, so there will be no faltering this time around. I hope everyone enjoys this convention as much as I do as well, and again, I hope everyone enjoys this years Paris Game Week.
Or Cocaine, crack, or meth...too much? Sorry, I REALLY felt the the need to say that, and probably out of line. If so, I hope this post gets deleted rather than my account. Not really sure if drug references are allowed on these forums...strike one?
I wish they'd lift the NDA off the testers soon. I will have a fully-written essay that will have every question about the game that every hater out there has ever posted answered.
Reading through some of the (mostly stupid) comments from people in many of those articles has had me stabbing myself with a fork in the leg. I wish I could tell them how blatantly wrong they are, but I can't.
There won't be anything to come from these conventions in the meantime, the best we can hope for is the NDA lift.
You gotta think Stephen Reid and the traveling devs are burned out from the nonstop road shows they've been doing. On the other hand, there's no energizer like admiration...
Stephen didn't go to Paris, so he at least got a little bit of a break. Though yeah, I can imagine the convention season wearing on these BW peeps. Hell, I only went to NYCC and it took me like a week to recover. :P
They are showing Huttball and Alderaan twice a day, with all the machines dedicated to origin world gameplay of all classes. The EXTREMELY LOUD NEIGHBOR BOOTHS and majority of public speak in French makes covering the Q&A sessions nearly impossible.
I really wanted to see Voidstar playable, but I guess they have to save something for Dreamhack or keep it under wraps until launch.
The good news is we do have stuff to show you. Asking for a little patience due to the time difference and back to back cons.
