It seems to be a growing issue with people (including me) getting a bogus security question that they never even answered to access your SWTOR account or the launcher for beta. It wont allow me to pick another security question to answer and I cant get back into the beta because of it. Customer service has been contacted multiple times without a response and no response from the devs in the official forums.
Anybody else having this problem?
If somebody from Darth Hater could contact anybody within BioWare for an update on this situation would be greatly appreciated.
Even though I was only in the beta weekend, I used to be able to sign back on to the launcher, but I couldn't access the game. Now it's doing the same thing, where it tells me that my password is wrong and asks me a question.
I changed my password on the swtor site and then tried again with the same result. It doesn't matter at the moment, but if this is something that will affect my ability to enter the game during the next beta weekend then I'd love to know if I need to do anything to fix it.
Yes im fucking locked out too! I was due to enter my account as I usually do- its asking me a darn question I cant remember the answer to.. Now I've sent a aid for Bioware to help me, but no reply.. even tho they claim to read the issues within 24/7 which is crap!
I dont wanna freakin miss out on my damn beta weekend!

hey guys, sorry for repeating myself but i have been waiting for this game for like 3 years now and my account has the pre order code on it, i sent them 2 tickets, still no response, can you guys please help me, the beta weekend is coming and they said they will let all the ppl in with accs before 18 or 19 november 2011, o man i just cant wait artound anymore
If you're having problems with the security question issue, I would recommend calling the customer support phone number. The phone number is - 1-855-467-9867. Keep in mind it's the US number, there is a number for the UK/EU but I don't know it. I had my problem solved in a matter of two minutes.
I Have the Same problem can not even log into the Main site , Emailed them and also phones them no answer was on hold for 30min and nothing , Email i got yesterday said reset password , did that still saying secert questions is wrong when iknow it is right quite annoying now.
I was on hold with the above listed customer support number for nearly three hours before I gave up and went to bed. Today when I called a different message said that they weren't helping people right now. Complete failure for some of us. I honestly believe that the security question it is asking me is not one that I set up in the first place - I've tried at least a dozen different variations of the only possible answer it could be.
I'm guessing that something like this isn't accidental unless they were testing something and made a gross miscalculation. I've been waiting for over five days now for a single response to my multiple trouble tickets and frankly am leaning toward looking for another game to spend my time and money on.

Be warned they are swamped and could take a while to get through. I haven't been able to get through yet.
There are thousands of people all trying to set up their security questions all at once, not too suprising the server has had some issues better now than at launch. With thousands of people now obviously having issues with security questions it is also not too suprising that their help lines and emails are totally swamped.
Chill out and keep trying to get through on the phone or wait till later in the week.
I had this problem, However it was no faults of the website or Bioware, I was stuck on your best friends' first name.. I didn't use his first name... However I DID wait for almost an hour on hold on my Cell phone with no long distance plan (Oh man... :( ) and was corrected in less than 10 minutes. I hope they are recording how this goes down because the next time there is a hiccup in the server or accounts they will get flooded. I believe they need to change to an international toll free number, a multi national online gaming community provider needs to not have their customers charged by the minute while they circle the tower waiting for help.
Anyone Who moans about how stringent this security level is should re look at account security problems, 5 questions randomly asked when your IP changes is a super good thing
Currently, some of our members are also experience trouble getting the Beta Forums on the official website. Looking over the past, week this has been an ongoing problem with the site going down sometimes due to "high traffic." Hopefully, they get their databanks together soon.
I can't even get threw to reset my password, much less change my security question that wont accept any pet I'ved owned in the past 20 years and all the variations of them. >.< Would very much like to DL this version before the weekend. Crap, it's TG tomarrow. You think they'll have anyone there working to handle all these calls?
*EDIT/UPDATE* And to add to the mess, their 1-800 number is down because of the site maintainance. I bet those guys in Texas are just HATING life right now dealing with this, hahahaha.
