Hi all, I'm not sure if this is news to anyone, but the Razer SWTOR peripherals seem to have been quietly listed on Amazon.com on 11/14. They are listed as shiping in "4 to 6 weeks". Unfortunately, the keyboard and mouse are listed at higher than expected prices.
What do you guys and gals think? Are they worth the higher prices? Which, if any, will you be getting?
I'll probably buy them all eventually, but that's because I am (to quote Jerry Holkins) "a consumer whore".
Meh. They certainly look pretty. But I dont' think the keyboard is worth it (or the rest for that matter). The dedicated skill buttons on the side of the keyboard seem like a nice touch; but would you ever use them? After the novelty wears off you'll be using the number row from your keyboard or the multiple mapped buttons on your mouse (whatever model that is). If you are going to go with a razer line up I'd recommend products that are not IP liscensed. Save yourself some money. But that's just my two sense, and because I'm a cheap bastard I'll keep them.
Wow, was tottally going to hold out for the mouse, but glad I picked up a logitec g700 for 50% off. Even though setpoint is a raging pile of shit that hardly even works. Bought a diffrent mouse thinking I can put the money towards the keyboard but at that price, no way in hell.
Personally, the most money I'd spend on a peripheral is probably a hundred for a mechanical keyboard or a really nice headset. These TOR peripherals, while sweet to look at, are priced outrageously -- even for Razer products.
