The update was never supposed to be pushed out last night. In fact, the developers specifically stated that it was not going to happen. IGN jumped the gun, released a date without any approval or basis in fact, and was shown to be wrong yet again.

I do think these are just spammers now. Two posters in two days who make posts about random things and embed videos that require Windows Media Player? He mentions IGN but doesn't link. I imagine there's an exploit in Windows Media Player allows systems to get infected, and these guys are shilling it. Or maybe I'm just paranoid. Either way, there's gotta be a reason they're shilling WMP plug-in videos in topics that have nothing to do with anything that a video could be about. I've already reported the post.
The videos are legitimate, though all they're doing is trying to get people to reroll to an empty server that's likely to be shut down within a few months. The Media Player interface is the default embedding method native to DathHater's text controls; it's native to this site, but a buggy embedding tool.

It's an excuse to show the user playing the game. The user states IGN had declared yesterday that 1.2 was coming that evening, and since it hadn't that Bioware had delayed the patch. Faulty reasoning at best; the video title and the user's comments are both false and misleading, and the user not only neglects the fact that Bioware did not say 1.2 was coming last night, he ignores the fact that they specifically said it wasn't.
He also adds yet more plugs for his server. So basically, it's poorly-disguised spam. As are the other two threads of this nature.

Basicly the youtube video is the same as this post but with a preview of the patch as well.
This guy has a legitimate youtube channel that he started quite recently. Seems to me that he's posting the obvious (and in large print) solely to try getting people to play on the same server that he does. He even posted "breaking news" 6 hours after the servers would have gone down.
All of this hype started over a vague quote. Too bad everyone seems to ignore the part right afterward where someone else is heard saying that there was a typo on the guy's material.
Hopefully patch 1.2 will come when it's as complete and bug-free as possible, and not be rushed like the initial launch was. Another set of buggy content may just get me to go back to my previous MMO, especially considering that they still haven't finished fixing all of the release bugs (D7, HK47 in foundry, Soa's floor, Ilum dailies, holes in the world on belsavis, etc...)
Hey guys i understand your point im not trying to miss lead you guy how ever you have brought to light how the title can be misleading..In light of this I will change the title to be more appropriate. Also i will try and find the update that IGN posted. they posted it Yesterday saying it will be released . and then changed it last night..
On a second note we are trying to populate the Server.. i Post the obvious yes but not everybody knows this stuff and some people would rather watch a video then read it ..Thanks for your thoughts guys I appreciate all comments and criticism and i will try and put more links in the Videos To where i got the infomation !
If those bugs since release easy to fix, I imagine they'd be fixed by now. They didn't fix these weeks ago and are holding them back just to annoy you. If you could easily fix a bug, why wouldn't you? It means the bugs you've seen can't be easy to fix.

Don't bother. It doesn't matter what IGN posts because they have no authority in the matter. Next time, if you want to make grand proclimations, check the validity of your information first.

Well they never did say tuesday the comment was this week.
And based on the date it was given, it could have been in reference to next week as well.
