i started playing swtor around a year ago. while playing i saw the security key vendor. thanks to my damn curiosity i installed swtor sk app to my ipod touch and started using the app. as you can guess i was disappointed. after playing a couple of months i quit swtor and after couple of months i quit, i reset my ipod so all of my apps including sk app were gone.
yesterday i decided to play swtor again but i can't login to my account because i can't get a security key from the stupid app. to get a security key from the app i need a 7 digit serial number which is in "my account" section of the website.
in order to cancel security key, i need to get in contact with the customer support by phone. i don't want to do that because i'll probably be charged more than i spend for swtor so i created a new trial account to open a topic in forums but i can't do that either.
Well it i great you have decided to come back to TOR :D but sadly yes you do need to contact C.S for them to remove the SK Authentication from your account, sadly it also seems they have removed their Toll Free number as a result of this people choose to call them through skype as the cost is usually cheaper. Howeve if you are dead set against calling them due to the cost you have two options at the moment:
1: Start a new account
2: wait utill the planned changes for self service account details are put into effect (IE: removing the SK authentication on your own)
Best thig i can suggest is call them over a skype service etc it will cost less and at least you can play something while on hold.

On April 2nd, we are changing some aspects of our Authentication system. In our first notification of the most visible of the changes on March 5th (http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=5954106) we were still waiting on the last few background systems to be confirmed as ready. Now that they are ready, today's notification also includes those changes as well.
On April 2nd, the following changes are going live:
Display Name only login
Email Security Code replacing Security Questions and Answers during Authentication
Self-service for Forgot my Display Name
Other changes we are aiming for within April, but not necessarily on April 2nd:
Self-service for Lost my Security Key
Self-service for Remove my Security Key
Self-service for Move my Security Key
As a result of the original announcement of the initial overall change, there were a lot of questions raised. I'm going to try and give as much detail as I can here to try and answer any questions you might otherwise have, and that way we can focus on anything missed.
