As a Merc, my biggest headache are consolers. Pushing me around gets super annoying, really fast. Other than that, I've been able to melt down most people within a few seconds... Tracer Missile is your friend.
What I've heard from some people is a Operative/Scoundrel Hybrid. Stealth-backshot-legshot-stealth-heal
As a Imperial agent I hated Trooper and Consular..
so what exactly do you mean by "hybrid"
like im used to seeing when it comes to classes stuff like this
Jedi sage/sith sorcerer telekinetics/lightning
jedi shadow/sith assassin infiltration/deception
A Hybrid Scoundrel/Operative is someone who has put points in both the Healing Tree and the DPS tree. So They got half way on both. That makes they able to use both Massive Damage and Heal themself and allies.

so what would like a talent calculator look like or whatever.perferably for both scoundrel and operative cuz im not sure if i wanna go jedi or sith yet
cuz i think thats what i wanna go with in terms of class and stuff.unless it would play different then what i was thinkin,i was thinkin it would be more like a rogue type class only you could heal yourself

I did a warzone today where 6 of the 8 Imps were Inquisitors. It was nothing but lightning and aoe lightning spam. Hated fighting them. I knew newbies would flood to Jedi and especially Sith classes, but that was ridiculous. There are a lot of Inquisitors I notice in warzones.

More ignorance and arrogance please... if you really think THAT has anything to do with "skill" and someone beeing a "newbie" then you are just dumb or a bad Troll. Please try to think like 3 steps ahead instead of -2.... sigh.
This is purely my experience being a level 20 gunslinger doing warzones so I'll tell you what level 50 class stomps me the most. I've been up against 50s of all classes but 1 on 1, Scoundrels/Operatives are #1 by far and Consulars/Sorcerors are #2. I don't stand a chance when a highly stealthed 50 operative sneaks up and stun locks me to death in about 4 seconds (not an exaggeration). Multiple operatives vs multiple sorcerors flip the rankings around.
Onto multiple sorcerors. As a general rule you always try to kill the healer first in pvp. This is the general scenario with a group of sorcerors: I see one sorceror # 1 healing while sorceror 2,3, and 4 do damage so I get a good chunk of sorceror #1 hp down .....aaaaand it returns to full. Sorceror 2,3 and 4 are also healing hybrid damage and healer spec with protective bubbles.
Whats the least intimidating class to fight? The warrior and knight classes. They might need a little buffs versus ranged classes.
There's this prevalent idea right now that Sorcerers are imbalanced, which is direly untrue. They're fine. There are a lot of them, but most of them aren't even vaguely played well.
I think we're likely to see buffs coming through for the Marauder. I think the DPS and the survivability is too low right now, but that could be because they are EXTREMELY gear dependent... so at 50 they made suddenly become crazy deeps.
We may see a nerf or two coming through for the Sorc, either in the form of lower damage (I'm thinking they may reign Madness' ability to spread DoTs as efficiently as they do, and also nerf the procs for lightening). I don't know thoughl; from my experience there are a select group of people who play Sorc well in warzones.
Bounty Hunters may have their coefficients dropped on AoE damage. It serves them right though.
I think everything is pretty well balanced out of the gate, however. I don't think there's MUCH they need to do to tidy things up for a while.
Not one person said they hated maurader or juggernauts lol. Most fo the time the reason mauraders don't do well in pvp and don't have the survivability is because epople arent' speccing right. Most people spec into carnage whichi is completely a pve build. or the other build that's a bleed build and in both of those build you get kitted like fuckign mad. There are no second gap closers or anything. Rage is the proper build for pvp but most people are to retarded to see that. Rage has the most burst of almost any class in the game besides operatives or w/e the ranged class is called. You can't kite a rage maurader and if you do they are horrible. http://db.darthhater.com/skill_calc/sith_warrior/marauder/?build_id=2827#::f3ef10e2f7ef15e3fde2fe2fe6fe2:2827 this is the proper buiid for a competative pvp maurader. You can spec one point out of Duel weild mastery and cap out strangulate for the push back reduction. But if you play this build right then you own pretty much every class. You can't be kitted at all sure most class can knock you back but with Obliterate you shouldn't worry about that, and with the movement impairing effect that rupture has with this build you won't have to worry about hittign people with another slow effect and have your main slow be a damage dealer as well.
"What I've heard from some people is a Operative/Scoundrel Hybrid. Stealth-backshot-legshot-stealth-heal"
most op bs combo in the game right now. it runs totally counter to BW's stated ideals of making combat last longer to what is, essentially, a 1-shot kill combo. you know it's op when it's the only thing a player does.
i've got some end game pvp gear and some end game raid gear, my health is ~15k, my armor is ~4200, and i'm dead before i can get to my feet (when my anti cc is down) or 1.5 secs after i use my anti cc and get to my feet. i play a dps merc and i have no combo that kills anywhere near that fast (against any class).
have fun while it lasts kiddies, cuz ya know the nerf bat's comin'.

Posted 12/27/2011 9:40:10 AMHate BountyHunters/Troopers.
It is the only class I currently feel is over the top, as it is simply to versatile compared to other classes.
I play as a marauder.
