I think what he's referring to is that some nods spawn under the map, and see generally inaccessable. It's one of many little things that needs to be addressed. Be patient, I'm sure it'll be fixed. And not to hyjack your threat, but the GM guild chat bug need to be fixed too. GM's in guilds sometimes get locked out of guild chat: cant see otlr type. Sucks. >.<

I've seen this problem everywhere, as has everyone else on my server, so it's a big problem. One rumor is that people are gathering but not looting, but I don't know anyone who doesn't follow-through with gathering so that could be a bogus rumor.
Who actually farms nodes? send your companions on mission, they will bring you what you need. I picked up Synthweaving with Archelolgy and underworld trading. I never have to mine a single archeology node, just send the pets.
As of now I have only done missions when I am not running around and questing. I agree that doing the missions will add up in credits spent. It would be nice for Bioware to fix the bug with the nodes. Nothing is more fun than seeing a resource on the map, running over and finding a bugged node.

I don't know if it's true on other servers, or for Imps, but on my server, the problem was mostly on Coruscant. Once I got to Taris, I've only had a few non-targetable nodes tops. Since I saw nothing but untargetables in the Rebel Slave Camp on Kaas in Beta, I assume the capital world for both sides is just prone ot it.
Anyone else notice it's focused mainly on the capital worlds of each side?
The untargetable nodes are due to someone scanning them and then not looting. Its not so much a bug, but perhaps a form of greefing? The nodes do reset over time though. It seems to come more on the capital worlds, due to the more players being on them at any given time.
