Alittle bit of this has already been stated but ill just reinforce those folks. Groups of all the same class will end up without certain buffs and cc's. While im sure you could do instances as all BH's it most likely won't be the easiest way.
For RP realms it might be cool to have an all x class guild and play things out like that. BH guilds to hunt down player made bounties and being able to do it just in BH groups(heals needed) would be fun.

You are right. The size of the raids will be a problem if story is involved that everyone would want to see. I do want to see 20 man, or so, sized instances though. Maybe they just won't involve that much story. Or you can do the story in some other way.Posted in: Endgame PvE

Well in wow they are 20, or more, on 1. In swtor? Who knows what a world boss could be. World event maybe? Its just a "boss" that is in the open world.Posted in: Endgame PvE

After thinking about this alittle more I would like different "tiers" of raiding. I really hate how wow has made 10 and 25 content the same fights. Its very hard to balance properly and just doesn't play well. I would rather see alot of flash points at end game, say 5-8. Then another tier of unique boss fights that take 8-12 players to kill. Those build more story and are alittle harder. Takes more coordination and group building. Maybe have 2-3 of those and then have one or two 16-20 player raids. The big bang at the end. It takes a force, a unit to take down the last few parts of the story. All unique, all allow for different play styles and group sizes.Posted in: Endgame PvE
Edit: If there must be a hard mode please do it Ulduar style with making the fight harder on yourself to complete it and not just a push of a button.

Hope that is a bug because the parts on the ramp and back into the hanger look to be way out of range. I'm not sure if they would make bigger hit boxes because of no auto attack? Giving the melee alittle more advantage while being kited because ability misses would be a much bigger impact in this style of combat.Posted in: General Discussion

I've read through abit here and there of the last 14 pages so if I restate some old opinion I apoligize. I'm a "hardcore" raider in WoW and I wouldn't mind one bit if there are more then just crafting ways to get top tier gear. If the gear is unique with stat bonuses and looks for each way of gathering the gear then people will know where you got the items. I really hope this game forms a much tighter community then wow and crafting guilds/groups would be great ways of doing that. The only way I could see that happening is if crafting is hard, unique and worthw while. The only way to be worth while is having it be just as good as any other gear you can get.Posted in: Endgame PvE
I raid to raid and would like to see other raiders raid to raid. The game would be much more fun if people where not forced to raid just to get the best gear in the world.

To comment on if 10's actually are raids. Yes, yes they are. Are they harder? Yes, yes they are. If you think different you have not done 10 man hard modes. This is coming from a US 100 25 man raider btw.Posted in: Endgame PvE
That side note aside what do I want in Swtor?
I would like smaller raids for the most part. I'd say about 12-16 players would be about perfect. In the DH vent the other day a few of us were talking about how your morality will play into the way your player looks. Having 12 folks with lets say 3 tanks, 4 healers and the rest dps/healer/ot with unique looks just based on morality would be pretty awesome. Breaking the groups into smaller 4 man sets to complete objectives inside the fights would be great. Well, lets say there is the main boss over here and this set of a tank, 2 healers and maybe a dps starts on him. The rest of the group must take out x, y, z to weaken the boss. Could be alot of fun or it could be a giant headache.
I also think world bosses could, and should, be however many players you could get into a group to kill them/it/army or whatever it could be. This is Star WARS. I've seen plenty of video's that state that over and over. I really would be sad if there isn't a few just huge, get as many players as you can, and go storm this facility or star base or what have you.
