Good news, although why not simply announce the servers will be coming down twice during the week to fix the bugs that will follow 1.6?
Just sayin..

Yay for fixing stuff!
It honestly feels as if these guys are doing their damnedest to run this thing straight into the ground.
How can anyone with a brain, who has actually played a video game in their life ever think it was a good idea to limit the UI for ANY player? In all of the F2p games out there not ONE i can think of limits the players UI in anyway shape or form, you just don't do it.
But per usual over there at Candyland, these guys just keep coming up with winner after winner concerning this poor game. If i were Swtor i would pray to Baby Jesus a real company with a shred of common(game design)sense would come along, purchase me, and take me away from these yahoo's.
Limiting quickbars is just plain silly.
Maybe it's just me and my own personal feelings on this, but these limitations and rules to curtail basic gameplay look terrible, it's all so limiting and would simply discourage me from logging in at all.
If i'm going to continue to play the game i'll just pay monthly, but for them to think it's appropriate to limit f2p customers control by limiting quickbars is absolutely ludicrous.
Just another bad decision by bad designers.
Well that's not the point at all is it?
Try reading again, slowly this time.
One of the many issues with their game atm is their gear is not only lazy cut/paste iterations of the same gear with the same bonuses we've seen going on a year now, but the actual armorings are in some ways downgrades or sidegrades at best.
For instance, looking at my PT's tank gear, i take defense and absorption hits for endurance and aim stats?
Who's doing their math over there? They can't even get their own numbers right! It's as if they get off on forcing the players to Frankenstein their gear by pulling mods and switching this for that in order to achieve a bloody upgrade in this game.
It's all so terribly designed, terribly implemented, and just plain badly managed.

WoW went a year and a half without a single content patch. It lived.
Post dates on your claim of that year and a half of no content patches in wow or you're full of shit.
I already know you are, but i'd like dates just to solidify your argument.
We won't even go into common sense observations of the massive differences in talent, art, and management between the two, and why people have left one in droves and have gone back to the other.
Let's see those dates..
There's a certain expectation, especially concerning top tier mmo's that demand a monthly premium.
Did i mention a world a week? Way to go over the top there kiddo.
Did i hit a nerve by stating the fact your favorite mmo is run by a company that has for the most part completely fubard what could've been a real contender in the market?
You may want to come to the realization that EAware is not only one giant mess of a company who's talent is now long gone, and that they have imploded from the inside out, but that they now also have a year long record for making bad decision after bad decision, time and time again.
Take a look at this new model they're scrambling to push out, it's a mess, it's confusing, and no one's really excited about it, which is the whole point of doing it no?
Just more stuff nobody wants, and they can't seem to get a clue as to what it is their customers do want. When and if they finally figure it out, i'm afraid the doors will be shut on this one.
