Roger that. Things seem to be much smoother, especially on Voss, now. :)

Thanks, I'm giving it a try now. I can't, however, locate the AA compatibility flag you mentioned -- 0x000012C1 is not on the list (Inspector version 1.9.6.9).

IIRC, all you need to do is run SWTOR Unleashed and then click the 'SWTOR Retail' button. That should revert the changes made to run the game off the RAM disk and let you run the game through the regular launcher.

I'm right with you on the Thrawn Trilogy, Rogue. They were among the few books that truly captured the feel of the original trilogy.

And sadly the graphic stuttering problems many are experiencing (and make the game largely unplayable) are still there.

I'm not against the changes in general, however I hate it when games affect PVE play in the name of PVP balancing (notably the CC abilities). I have a feeling that the range is going to be short enough to have you pulling agro before the CC kicks in, which kinda defeats the purpose of it. Of course this assumes that the changes aren't strictly PVP changes. In any case, I'll reserve final judgement until I see things in practice.

I recognized the hard drive sound right away -- it's the sound of a hard drive trying to spin up but being unable to. Most of the time I've seen this happen is due to a faulty power supply, so that's the first thing I'd check. Of course it could be the hard drive has failed, but given that it was working prior to your upgrade it's more likely a power issue. You can try swapping in the old unit temporarily, if you still have it. If the system boots, then we've identified the source of at least one of your problems and can go from there.

Only 90? It once took me 126 blue shields to finally get the variant (Veracity) that I wanted. If I wasn't so stubborn, I would've given up long before that lol.
