Orix here, from the Aartan Away podcast (http://aartanaway.blogspot.com/). Was nice to meet Dover in person after leaving the convention on Friday, he was chatting to some guy from TORMag. He sounds the exact same in person as he does on your podcast, heh.Posted in: SWTOR News
Good show getting the interviews, made for an interesting read. Got some interesting details out of Daniel for our own cast, and had a chat to Chris Collins also, although we're a little slower in getting it polished off and up on our site!
Keep up the good work.

There's loads of races that are human-looking/near human. Although if they don't give the option of nationalities, we could at least hope the range of options are there.

Every ship looks to have a Dejaric (or similar looking game) board if you look across the screenies and concepts for the interiors of other ships.Posted in: General Discussion
If a feature like this is shared across them all, you could infer that it would have a purpose.
I for one would love to have downtime games. Sure, Bioware could whip out the old "It's not heroic" or "Darth Vader doesn't play space chess", yes, but it's cool (James Bond plays cards all the freakin' time) and of course Han Solo is a known Sabacc guy.
Do it Bioware!

I wonder if Weequay (as in the Trooper companion) will be a playable species. Since they're human-looking, bar their horns/spikes that look along similar lines of "alien" to the Sith Pureblood.Posted in: General Discussion

My parents have a flat on Tenerife, so I've been to Gran Canaria quite a few times :D (for the uninformed, they're both Canary Islands off the coast of Spain/Morocco).Posted in: Proxy Jawas
I'm in Manchester, UK. I live fairly close to some of my fellow guild peeps.

Agree with AddisonX about the Captains' locker, would make sense, since it's in his room.
number 4 I think is Galaxy Display, juding by the other concept art, there's a blue hologram in the center of the lounge room.
Also, on the same piece of concept art, there is indeed what looks like a sensor display, similar to the one Han sits at in the Millennium Falcon (while Luke's lightsaber trianing in ANH).
Edit: Also, notice after 2, 3 and the Engine label it says (post release), or something similar, in brackets.
Edit2: Also, looking at the concept art and videos for the other two ships, the lounge area, by convention on all 3 ships, has a Dejarek table and chairs, a holoprojector (possibly galaxy map) in the middle, and some sort of large console.

Getting back on topic, Leakerz.net have posted a gallery of TOR character creation screensPosted in: General Discussion
Looks like Rattaki can also be Troopers.
Also, looks like we can choose between several different character backgrounds, which is intriguing.
