I never played SWG, Took me a minute to figure out what it was!  I just want Starwars to feel more like Starwars, and be able to explore more, because to me that is what makes an MMO fun, going out with friends and finding new things.  I never liked how end game always revolved around sitting in 1 hub, I think that the Trade chat, such as the one in WOW should be accessed everywhere on the map.  I know from experience that I want to do PUG a group, but I also want to go do a quest, I can't do bot because if I leave the main city, I will not find that group.

http://www.darthhater.com/devtracker/topic/41533-my-favorite-comparison-and-it-scares-bioware This is way to close to WoW warrior I don't care what anyone says, and  I do play an imperial agent, and I do find it to familiar to wow druid/rogue cross.

I know story is important to some people, and in terms of decision making I think they should remove it from flashpoints.  As some one who geared in WoW I see these as something people will run multiple times.  Keeping that in mind I think Flashpoints should only effect the boss you face not if you run into someone from another planet later.  I know there is some choices that effect you later but more need to be added, as well I noticed when doing some of the quests, that I picked one thing and then the rest of the conversation twists what I said back around to what the other choice was, I don't like how this works, and I think that if I make a decision the game should let me stick with it, not turn it around in my face.

These are my thoughts, I may check this SWG out it looks like something more my style.

    Thanks

When I heard about SWTOR I was really excited, as a fan of the starwars universe, and a player of WOW I thought this would really be something for me to get into. After playing the beta I was sold and bought the game there after and played it all the way to 50 on both an Imperial Operative and a Bounty Hunter.
I have taken a break from the game, and now I am coming back.
Below I am going to discuss some issues I have with the game, and how I think they could be fixed, Please feel free to leave suggestions and comments below.

    Space Battles
When I think of Starwars, I think of epic space battles, as seen in the movies and played in Battlefront (epic game!!) but in SWTOR this was not delievered. A big part of Starwars is the space battles, and I think not letting us have PvP space battles ruins some feel to the game. To go along with this, I think we need to
spice it up a little, being stuck on the track they have is really annoying and makes what could be epic really lame. I think Bioware should drop that portion of the game and let us free fly around.

    Ships
We are told our ship is our own, but we can't customize it, or change it, we can put weapons on it but thats it. I think they should let us buy new ships, move basic things around, change the colors, and deck it out with special weapons to effect space battles.
Ships should also be harder to obtain, having to rely on taxis or other players makes it feel soo much better when you finally get to say I have a ship!

    The World
Right now the worlds are broken up Sith/Republic, and this makes world pvp impossible. WHen people think of Pvp they think of owning noobs, and ganking people, and this is where the fun is. World Pvp is fun because it is spontanious, as in I ran into another person we fought, he killed me, and for the next 10 minutes we fight each other and slowly more people come in from questing or
because I chatted in guild and before you know it 30 people are going at each other. This is very hard to do right now, and since Illum is broken we need another outlet. I have been throwing around this Idea and I came up with a thought! I am not sure how plausible it would be but I thought to share it anyways:
Have the game set up so that when you go into your ship and take off, you can actually fly around in space.(eg I move my ship to planet to planet) This way I can run into other players and we can space battle, team up or explore, new places togetehr. This would server two functions, 1 make the game feel more like Starwars, 2 bring more people into world PvP.
Add in more terrain on exsisting maps. Everyone thinks that you have to have something cool somewhere to go there, so use the systems in place such as pets and mounts to draw people to new areas. Fill these areas with cool terrain and new things that players can explore and feel like pioneers in!
Ship landing, make it so I can land in multiple places, say I can land in the Imperial Main Base, why don't you add in that I can land in this swamp over here as well, so that maybe I can hop right out and fight the Republic guy who chose the same spot or a spot close by.

    Main Cities
As a WOW player I know the importance of wanting to remain in main cities, simply because Trade chat is there and every single vender. But I think this needs to be thrown out the window, on each planet there should be a main hub, with a cantina which is more like a fun gathering place, with maybe arcade games, cool music and weird NPC to talk to. These Hub towns should also have all sorts of venders
shops, and all other things we exspect from a city. The whole world will link in a trade chat, and main cities will be abolished, so that players can run around the map, go to there favorite towns, and hopefully not all sit in 1 main city so that people can interact with you more frequently.

    Characters
Character Customization is important to a lot of people, and really makes them want to play there character. SWTOR started on the right foot but they cut too many corners. All the models for characters are the same, this I think is stupid! Starwars has always had a bunch of unique races and we should be able to choose many of these, with different models and all. Customization should also be availible
not like 10 styles, but something like guild wars where I can make my character actually look like myself.

    Gear
Gear needs to look cool, and every player need to look in some ways unique, all this skin tight stuff needs to just gtfo. Litesabers the main weapon in the game should have variations of the hilt, maybe longer, shorter, a spike or something but look authentic and very STarwars like. As for the beam I think instead of gemming in a crystal because its benifical, the different colors should be challenge rewards for quets, raids, or Pvp.
Blasters should have a similar effect, where the color reflects certain thinngs that you have done. Weapon varitation should also come in, vibro blades was one thing but there should be other weapons similar to that in the game, such as maybe axes I can wield, or crossbows as a range character, since we do see these things in the movie and more variation would be nice.

    Pod-Racing
This is probably one of these most iconic things about Starwars and it needs to be included! Make it seem like a whole game in itself, racing players and computers, finding sponsors, and winning glory racing for titles.

    Decision Making In Quests
Choosing what you say in quests is a cool system, but there are to things about it, which are annoying. First when I talk to some one and I chose an option, my character some times says something along the lines of, but the context is different and isn't what I really wanted to say. ALso the light and darkside is cool but I think that has to go considering that people should make a choice because that is how they see there character
not because they get 150 lightside points. The other thing about decision making that needs to be changed is the repricussions. When I decide to kill ___ that should mean something later, where as now me and the other guy who said lets save him just keep going on the same quest chain. This would be a lot of story to add, but lets face it Starwars needs unique stuff in it to draw us back in.
This would make it a lot easier to level all characters to max level multiple times without feeling like we are doing something repetetive.

    Combat (mainly PVp)
People complain about pvp being to clunky; I do agree with this in some ways, so I think some more abilities added in and a lowering of the GCD would make this soo much better for all of us players. I also think bioware needs to redo some classes abilities, since some are copied pure out of WOW, even the names are similar, and this is not a good idea. We came to starwars to see new things, not to repeat what world of warcraft has ahd for the past
8 years it has been out.

These are all I can come up with on the top of my head, if people can think of more fixes I would like to add them to my list. I would also appriciate it, if something needs to be clarified, or reworded
Thank you and keep playing SWTOR
