I don't really understand the whole philosophy behind their free to play model. They talked about a huge number of people leaving the game because of the cost of the subscription model. Their model for free to play doesn't really seem to cater to their supposed target crowd in my opinion. For the most part it's cheaper and a better experience to sub. After the initial investment of the necessary purchases from the cartel market (hot bars, purple gear, money cap) I suppose that it would be cheaper to run by purchasing only what you need as you go but I raise the argument that that isn't a very easy way to go about your play. Of coarse their target is a casual crowd but with the game seeming to push you to a sub, how does this make that 40% of people who left because of the sub have a better experience?
