I am the only person working on this site, so there is that. However, I post the most pertinent bits of news that I can find, or that I feel are relevant. I don't believe the information or the cadence with which it is posted has changed, there just feels like less information floating out there for me to cover. As far as dissection, what would you folks like me to post in the future? We're primarily a news site at this point, but I'm open to suggestions.

I agree, it's definitely exciting to know that they'll be coming out in the relatively new future. And they're not just rehashes, either!

Hey there, have a look at this thread over on the forums:
http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=6221997
The original poster was having the same issue you are. In that thread, he/she were referred to this link:
http://www.swtor.com/community/showpost.php?p=6087771&postcount=2
I'll post the original text from CS as well.
We have made a file available which should resolve the problem for players who have been receiving the "Only a single instance of this application can run" error when updating the launcher.
Please follow the instructions below to download and install the file:- Go to http://cdn-patch.swtor.com/patch/Lau...airUtility.exe and download LauncherRepairUtility.exe (the file size is almost 28mb, and it’s a self-extracting 7-zip archive).
- Copy the downloaded file to your SWTOR directory, default locations are below:
- Windows 64-bit: “C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\BioWare\Star Wars - The Old Republic
- Windows 32-bit: “C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\BioWare\Star Wars - The Old Republic
- Make sure launcher.exe is not currently running on your computer (open your task manager using ctrl-alt-delete, and close any instances of it you find in the list).
- Go to your SWTOR folder (same location as above) and double-click on the LauncherRepairUtility.exe icon. You will be asked to choose a location for extraction of the files, check and make sure it’s pointing to your SWTOR folder, and then click on “extract”.
- The program will ask you to confirm that you want to replace an existing file of the same name. Please click on “Yes to All”.
Once the extraction process is complete, double-click on the new launcher icon to run Star Wars: the Old Republic™, you should now be able to log in without any issues.
We’d like to thank you again for your patience and understanding while we worked on this. -

Yeah, I did see it; as I pointed out to someone else, I wasn't provided the information directly by a third party, so I can't post it in confidence. I know that it's legitimate, but there are fair use rules against it. If more information comes out before the patch drops, naturally I'll be all over it.

There's no front page story on the new event coming up because I didn't want to poach the story from people who were supplied with the information by third parties, seemed dishonest to me.

posted a message on Game Update 2.2: Patch NotesPosted in: Feature
Hey folks,
I wanted to give you an update on Paid Character Transfers since I know you have been curious about it with the delay of 2.2. Unfortunately, we have come across some bugs that are present with Character Transfers, specifically around Achievements. We definitely want to insure that we are providing the best service possible when you pay to transfer your character.
Know that unlike Game Update 2.2, fixing this is a bit more involved and so Paid Character Transfers will no longer be launching with 2.2. This is entirely subject to change as we work through it, but the next likely launch target is 2.2.1. I apologize for the delay on this, I know many of you were looking forward to transferring your characters this week. We will get it out as soon as we can!

It's likely that they'll discuss other upcoming stuff as well; at least, I can imagine that they'll branch out further than 2.2. I hope so anyway, since we basically know everything there is to know.
