I'm looking forward to this style of PVP alot more then any other PVP that has been out. As long as its balanced. I would agree the a stealther being able to do alot of unfront damage is exceptable, if in a face to face fight with any other class they would lose 2 to 1 health. Making it an even fair fight. The problem in a lot of MMOs gets to the point that these "One shotters" get abilities and things to allow them to burn everyone in a heart beat, and then become untouchable. Especially with the heavy CCs, if the person isn't immune to it.Posted in: Podcast
And much like a FPS, lag is almost 25% of a persons "skill", yes people can be good. And I think the people that show themselves to be truly good in TOR PVP are going to be the people that win the game. Its not a free for all, its not a "Kill more then the other person" and for that, makes it alot different style. And I think that the stealth comes into play alot more in those regards. Getting unseen to an objective is a HUGE advantage.

The Aurebesh that you were wondering about in the transition equipment on Picture 3 isPosted in: SWTOR News
"Helmet for Protection and Life Support"
Funky letters but it seems to match up the best.
The picture actually cuts off the remaining words, had to go frame by frame to actually see the full word.

Oh Dear DH... I've been burnt on the information slowly trickling down the pipe lines, and then you brilliant brilliant people go and post something like this. When I stop frothing at the mouth from this AWESOME load of data, I will probably weep softly. Kudos.Posted in: SWTOR News

Yay for being mentioned. Great article. Good looks at alot of the stuff, and the screen shots specifically of Nal Hutta are a nice comparison.Posted in: Editorial

That map is just... awesome. Does anyone know of any other developer ever looking at their game play from that perspective? That's really not even something that I had truly considered when it came down to players in the environment.Posted in: SWTOR News

Yeah, DH even stated that in their run through of the Jedi Classes they got on a ship bound for Coruscant. So its not unreasonable that we have some initial means of escaping from Hutta. I don't think it means that we actually get this other ship, but its just our form of initial travel away. I could see something similar in the Smuggler stowwing away on someone else's ship, or the Trooper leaving in a large troop transport. Different things that fit with each class on leaving the planet.Posted in: General Discussion
I do think that was mostly a very good editing job, making you think that perhaps he is the one driving this ship, but that did also look more like a in game cinematic, meaning they can do whatever they want in those few moments.

Imperial Hair, love it. Love the Aurebesh touch, very swank. And don't worry, I'm sure you can pull out a pony, maybe just not as purple as you want it to be. Black is a deep purple though right?Posted in: Feature

Nice pics, gonna do a whole DH cast picture? Maybe them battling the 1 or 2 Republic that are among the crew.Posted in: Proxy Jawas
