    They kind of had to call it 'expansion' (whether it deserves that label or not) because they wanted to charge extra money for it. No MMO ever has 'DLC' - which is usually just comparable to content updates which are expected to be included as part of what you receive when paying for the subscription.

    If you are interested in PVP then the experience and enjoyment would be drastically reduced by not purchasing the expansion as you will be unnable to get to the level 55 bracket. Seeing as thats the only bracket with ranked, by not purchasing the expansion you will actually be LOSING content as ranked warzones will be taken away from you.

    So new personal class stories in the future.. thats a real shame. Doesnt matter how good the story on Makeb & future planets are - the main advantage of individual class stories was replayability (of different classes). Doing any of the current content in the game gets stale on repeat playthroughs so I dont see Makeb being any different, oh well.

    Its just being realistic... Both untested events had flaws (one of them major). Even numerous tested patches also have flaws. Statistically speaking, it is wise to expect there to be issues.

    You dont remember the second event?

    Non tested, spontaneous, and with a massive exploit that allowed people to bypass and complete the entire content by doing 1 single space mission.

    The Rakghoul event also had its bugs. Most/all players werent getting credit for the world boss kills and were thus unnable to complete all the codexes and be awarded the exclusive title.

    Everything kind of has to be a buff considering everyone is getting new abilities and skill tree points. There wouldnt be any point in progressing further up the skill tree if it didnt offer any advantage.

    That second picture is most likely the texture thats applied to the planet makeb when we see it from space (our ships).

    The most important thing, imo, with guild capital ships is that they be extensively customisable to truely make them our own and unique (player housing but on a larger scale). Otherwise it just becomes another pointless area like the fleet.

    Whats disappointing is that prior to launch / just after launch, guild features and additions were stated to be the #1 priority for the dev team. 1 year after release we've seen literally nothing but guild banks added, and in recent interviews they've pretty much said they have nothing coming any time soon down the line either..
