Bestiary: A Guide to the World of Star Wars: The Old Republic

A few months back we compiled a list of creatures seen in the Star Wars: The Old Republic marketing. As more information was released, this list became out of date and in need of a drastic overhaul. With the addition of the Inhabitants section to the HoloNet, we felt now was a good time to take a second look at who or what we may encounter in TOR.

The Chagrian
Coming from the planet Champala, the Chagrian are an amphibious that makes many appearances in the Star Wars Universe. While all Chagrian have two lethorns (the things coming down over their chest) only the males have the larger horns. Chagrian also do not have a sense of taste and dislike eating.(more like going to the bathroom for them)
Chagrian are raised in tubs from tadpoles in their family's household. Many of the older style homes are much like the Telvanni towers, if you ever played Morrowind. There are no stairs, but rather holes in the rooms. When high tide comes in Chagrian would swim up to the higher levels. Chagrian are a more unique species, as most only desire the basic necessities of life.
Chagrian may end up as a male only race in the game. Everyone recognizes the profile of a male, yet finding a female image is quite difficult. (perhaps nonexistent) They are seen in video, and that is good enough for me to be a likely race in Star Wars: The Old Republic.
