    Darth Hater seeks guilds with Level 50 characters copied to the Star Wars: The Old Republic 1.2 PTS and who actively stream SWTOR content to participate in our Darth Hater Live stream channel. This is a great way to promote your guild, and we're specifically looking for your guild members who can stream participation in Ranked Warzones, new Operation content, and the new Flashpoint: Lost Island.

  • BioWare Hosts French Community Event

    In the wake of Eurogamer Expo, BioWare continues to court the European community. Star Wars: The Old Republic Lead Writer Daniel Erickson and Community Manager Antonio Moreno were on hand for a recent community event in Paris, France that featured a 16 computer setup for PvP. There's a full writeup of the event available at swtor-guide.fr (or check out the Google Translate version if you don't speak French). It sounds like a great time was had by all, despite the fact that the game version was not localized for French-speakers.

  • PAX Prime: SWTOR Community Cantina



    Darth Hater once again teams up with friends Curse, Gamebreaker TV, Mos Eisley Radio, TOROCast, AskAJedi, Corellian Run Radio, TORWars, and others to throw a Star Wars: The Old Republic community party this Friday, August 26 beginning at 7 PM. We're transforming the Blarney Stone Pub located at 1909 3rd Ave in Downtown Seattle into a SWTOR Community Cantina where everyone attending PAX Prime can unwind over a pint and discuss what they saw at the booth that day.

    So if you are going to PAX Prime, let us know by posting below and prepare to hang with the crews from SWTOR fan sites and guilds the night before the big developer meet and greet.

    Are you going to E3, or do you live in the Los Angeles area and wish you were? Join the STAR WARS: The Old Republic team for a night of casual conversation, frivolity and drinks! We'll be heading up to the Figueroa Hotel Veranda Bar after E3 on Wednesday night, and we'd love for you to join us. Stop by, grab a drink on us, and share your love and excitement for The Old Republic with the developers of the game!

    Note: Game will not be playable at this event.


    Members of Darth Hater's staff will be on hand, so don't forget to look for the shirts and say hello!

  • Darth Hater Live Q&A Weds May 11 at 6p PT

    Join the Darth Hater team on Wednesday, May 11 for a Live Q&A at 6 pm PT / 9 pm ET at our Typefrag Ventrilo server. Bring your Fan Site Summit questions and we'll give you our honest answers and individual opinions. If you can't make it, then feel free to post your questions in our forum thread and we'll select a few to answer during the event. As always, we'll make the recording available within a few days of the Live Q&A.



    Point your Ventrilo client to vent.darthhater.com port 26166 and hit the chat button on the client once you successfully connect. We're deathly allergic to key clicks enabled, so make sure that and any TTS/WAV binds are disabled prior to attending the event and the after party.

  • PAX East: SWTOR Community Cantina



    Darth Hater ganged up with friends Massively, Curse, Mos Eisley Radio, AskAJedi, Corellian Run Radio, TORSyndicate, and others to throw a Star Wars: The Old Republic community party to end all community parties on Friday, March 11 beginning at 7 PM. We're transforming the Times Irish Bar into a SWTOR Community Cantina where those attending PAX East can unwind over a pint and discuss what they saw at Booth 912 that day.

    We finagled some awesome giveaways for Cantina party goers: Typefrag will give away stuff to some lucky SWTOR guilds, and J!NX will dole out some sharp attire to a cosplayer or two. So if you are going to PAX East, let us know by posting below, and prepare to get your Force on to come hang with the crews from SWTOR fan sites and guilds the night before the big developer meet and greet.

  • Live Q&A Wednesday, December 15

    Those who figured out the background image formula can pat themselves on the back: join us for a Darth Hater Live Q and A session on Wednesday, December 15 at 6:30 PM PT / 9:30 PM ET. The Q and A session with the Darth Hater team will last approximately one hour, and take place on our TypeFrag-hosted Ventrilo server.
