Despite its unprecedented focus on story and character development, Star Wars: The Old Republic is at its heart, still an MMORPG. That means, beyond all the storytelling, decisions and emotional moments there are stats to push higher, equipment to enforce, and weapons to make more deadly. Following in the mold of more traditional MMO titles, SWTOR puts the most straightforward path to this goal through large group encounters, but that is not the only way to achieve the goal of gearing up at endgame. Read on as we discuss the various methods of acquiring “the best” gear available to players who, for whatever reason, cannot participate in Operations.

Watercooler: A Six Month Retrospective Part 2
We're now more than six months past the launch of BioWare's highly anticipated MMORPG, Star Wars: The Old Republic, and we feel like it’s time to look back at the game and reflect. You’ll get our opinions on just about everything, including what we think BioWare did right with the game, what hasn't worked at all, and what they can potentially modify to improve the game we’ve all grown to love.

E3 Hands-On: New Belsavis Heroic Quest
Recently during E3 in Los Angeles, I had a chance to go hands-on with a segment of one of the new Belsavis daily heroic quests as a level 50 Sith Sorcerer. Following a presentation showing off a preview of new content coming in 1.3 and later this year, I sat down with a group of three other players rounded out by a Sith Juggernaut tank, Operative healer and a Mercenary DPS. You can see a brief preview of the content we were able to test in our gameplay demo video, but read on to get the full experience as it was at E3.

Game Update 1.3: General Things Learned
Game Update 1.3 added a whole slew of new items, schematics and more to the game. With that, there comes a time where in some cases articles on specific things do not work. In hopes to relay the information while still allowing for ease of use, we are bringing back our General Things Learned post. This post will focus on all of the little things that are not worthy enough to pull out into its own post. Keep in mind this is a work-in-progress and more updates will come as we find entries worth adding to it.
The content includes a new badge tier, craftable PvP adrenal, vehicle, pets and more. Hit the jump and find out about the rest.

Guide: Corellia Daily Missions
Game Update 1.2 has added an entire swath of new features and content for players logging into Star Wars: The Old Republic to busy themselves with. Crafting has been keeping a lot of folks occupied, both PvE- and PvP-inclined types alike, and has proved the latest money sink design intended to slow economic inflation. To help replace some of those well-spent creds BioWare has introduced a handful of new [DAILY] missions on Corellia, providing a quick and easy source of additional funding and Daily Commendations. The regular dailies can be completed in 10 or 15 minutes once you're familiar with an optimal travel route, and the [HEROIC] can be 3-manned in another 15 to 20 minutes with a healer or healing companion and a little practice. We'll take you for a walkthrough of both the Imperial and Republic versions after the jump. Each of the quests is listed in the suggested order of completion for travel efficiency.
Note: The [HEROIC] walkthroughs will be added shortly.
