Today we delve into one of the most iconic archetypes in Star Wars lore: the Sith Warrior. If you’ve ever faked a respirator voice, told someone you were their father or tried to choke someone with the power of your mind, chances are you love (or hate) the Sith Warrior. Harkening back to the days of old, when the original trilogy premiered in all its glory, BioWare gave us the Sith Warrior class in Star Wars: The Old Republic as an outlet for Darth Vader fans to live their dreams. Let us take a look into the history and lore behind the hate-mongering Warriors - the angriest Force wielders in a galaxy far, far away.

Developer Dispatch: Designing the Dark Side
Today is quite a Holiday Present We get another Developer Dispatch showing how BioWare came up with the Sith Warrior and Sith Inquisitor, and we also get to see some PvP
Sean posted:Inspired by notorious characters such as Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader, the Sith Inquisitor and Sith Warrior take different approaches to their rise to power. The Sith Warrior achieves victory through pure aggression and might while the Sith Inquisitor excels by cunning ambition and Force manipulation.
From storyline, to art style, to combat tactics, each design decision was made to support the dark side themes of power, domination, and destruction.
Watch Developer Dispatch: Designing the Dark Side, and learn how Star Wars: The Old Republic developers created this dominating force.
Happy Holidays everyone -
Sith Warrior Class revealed in Gamespot Q&A
The new Sith Warrior class has been revealed by Bioware and Gamespot in this new Q&A: GameSpot: Our next profession to discuss is the Sith Warrior, which we believe was shown at this year's E3. Give us an overview of this class.
James Ohlen: At E3, we did show off a Sith, and today, we are revealing that the Sith that was shown at E3 was specifically the Sith Warrior. Darth Vader was the primary inspiration for the this character class. The Sith Warrior is a heavily armored Force user driven by darkness and rage. He depends more on overpowering his opponents with martial skills than Force powers but often uses iconic powers, such as [the] Force choke. His story revolves around hunting down and crushing the enemies of the Empire, though sometimes, he is given the task of corrupting--rather than destroying--an enemy.
