Now that were back from San Diego Comic-Con, we were able to find some time to get our own video up of the Join Us, It Is Your Destiny' panel. Some of you might have seen it already on Gamespot or G4 but our own video gets a better angle/view of the abilities shown in the panel. We will work on dissection images to update the original gallery when we are able to find some time. For now though, the embed of our video follows the jump. Enjoy.

Friday, 7:00pm-8:00pm, Raven Theatre Designing for Failure: Why Winning Sucks When Monte Cook came to speak to Bioware in 2008, an interesting discussion ensued. While pondering the weaknesses of both CRPGs and MMOs, I observed that those games don't do the one thing that make table-top RPGs so endearing, they don't allow for failure. In this presentation, Ill discuss the benefits of failure from both a behavioral and game play perspective. Ill cover past games that have, in some form or other, allowed the player to fail without resorting to a reboot of the game, then point out why failing but later succeeding is a far better reward mechanic than just allowing the player to win. Presented by Jason Booth (Senior Technical Designer, BioWare)

IGN just posted an article saying that they are looking for questions submitted by the community, through their site, for the SWTOR Comic-Con panel which takes place on July 24th.
Do Jedi Knights dream of electric sheep? What do Sith Lords like to do in their off time? Do you have a question about Star Wars: The Old Republic? The sci-fi MMORPG knocked our socks off at E3 last month, and now you have a chance to ask the developers themselves about the game.
LucasArts is holding a panel about The Old Republic at Comic-Con, with developers from both BioWare and LucasArts present to answer questions. But since many people can't be in San Diego next week we've set it up with LucasArts where we'll have a virtual panel of sorts. We'll take the best questions from our readers and ask them directly to the panelists next week, and then we'll post the answers on Friday, July 24.
So submit a question to the comments field below, and you may get it answered next week
If you're interested in submitting a question make sure to do so before Comic-Con. Hat tip to Remlish for the story.
